Heels Causing Pain?

In our office, we are always looking for ways to minimize our patients' pain. For women, we recommend avoiding high heels because they can often damage your feet and cause severe pain. However, if you do choose to wear heels, we recommend that you try this easy exercise to relieve some of the pain your shoes may cause in the arch of your foot.

Water Bottle Roll:

Freeze a water bottle 3/4 of the way full. With socks on, gently roll the water bottle under your foot. We recommend you do this exercise nightly to reduce inflammation in the foot prior to going to sleep. Repeat the exercise until you feel relief.
